Tom,
I feel better I was not the only one having the same problems with the
Matrox Dual Head.
The other design group in Maryland where not experiencing these problems, (I
believe they were running an older version though) but once I loaded the
latest drivers it was usable, but still not perfect ( I did still experience
loosing settings for no reason and have to redo them) and yes I experienced
the same quirkyness
of the settings, you really had to be carefull of what combinations you set.
Nonetheless a great way to work, having 2 monitors was great.
Even with the latest drivers
