Kishore, some steps to think about are Kitting, through-hole insertion
(automated or hand), any intermediate QA activities beyond that mentioned
in your note after test, post-cleaning installation of non-wettable parts.
Gluing of SM parts at timesmay fit into the flow. Lou Hart

Hi there everyone,
I'm trying to compile a budgeting guide for PCBA manufacturing industry .
This will be based on Activity Based Budgeting , where I need to gather all
the activities needs to be done in the industry and based on that costing
will be done.
The concept is very neat and I can really see the great value in
developing
this model .
I would really appreciate if any one of you have or know of any resource
(please point me to it) where I can get PCBA industry activity libraries /
standards and resources requirements to carry out those activities .
I'm really talking about the complete flow of activities e.g. starting with
screen printing -->Pick-n-Place -->Reflow -->Wave Soldering -->Any touch-up
requirements -->cleaning -->Drying --> Testing (ICT and Functional) -->QA
-->Shipping
Please feel free to e-mail me back personally with any questions you might
have.
Thank you very much in advance for your constructive responses ,
Kishore Gagrani
