        The lack of use of the arrays is probably a cost thing.

        Having looked at them before, I'm pretty sure that they are more
expensive than
        the same number of individual caps.

        Incidentally, I have also noticed that going from 0805 to 0603 that
there are fewer
        manufacturers making 0.1uf 0603, so I am assuming that it gets even
worse for
        0402.
