I am not sure but I thought it was 12 grams or heavier, If there is experience
with this part or assembly that shows possible problems then  I would secure it to board.
If this is a proto type then you might want to do some testing before requiring added process.
Just try and keep external copper traces or vias away from RTV locations in case component needs
to be removed.
