If we assume that a high cooling rate is important (~4 C/sec), does anyone
have information about how far below solidus it is important to maintain a
high cooling rate for Sn62 and Sn63?

I've always gone by the rule of thumb that the critical cooling range is
from peak temp down to solidus minus 20C or 30C. Once you get below
solidus minus 20C or 30C the fine grain structure is in practice fairly
well established.

Any thoughts?
