Jeez! How people love to commit serious (and serial) adultery with the
English language! I would take "tropicalisation" (spelt with an 'S', at
least instead of a 'Z' (sorry American cousins!)) - I would take it to mean
"made fit/robust for reliable use in a tropical climate (high humidity /
ambient temperature)".

It must be a relative to the term "Ruggedisation", which is taken to mean
"made fit/robust for reliable use in conditons in harsh working
environments such as extreme temperature cycling and high vibration
levels".

Does anyone know what tropicalisation means in relation with PCA???
