Good morning all,

A quick question, I hope. Does anyone have experiences they want to share
regarding the cleaning of assemblies that contain thermal greases? We use
a Dow Corning DC340 thermal conductive grease to aid in heat transferrance.
There is currently a debate ongoing (culminating with a Friday meeting) as
to the advisability of exposing such material to our Aquanox SSA cleaning
regimen.

Part of me is concerned about the SSA attacking the silicone and
redistributing it everywhere. But, one of the manufacturing centers has
indicated that they have been putting this grease through this cleaning
process for several years with no apparent problems.

Any thoughts on the matter?
