I made a slight error in my previous post.
I said that that:

energy recovery 50% and landfills 4%.

A closer reading of the text revealed that I should have said that those
were goals.  Actually, in 1999, Mass. recycled only 38%, combusted only 36%,
landfilled 12% and exported 14% to some other state.

Please accept my apologies.
