Steve,
We use these units on our Electrovert Reflow machines. They work out
well. . . IMPELL can help you size them.
Haven't tried to use them on wave solder machines, but suppose you could
size one accordingly.
HOWEVER, if you are trying to beat the heat, will the A/C savings by not
pulling X cfm out of the plant really be greater than the cost of cooling
all that heat that you don't exhaust? (This is a good thing in the winter)

Subject: [TN] Air filtration units...

Hi everyone!

Well, I'm just about to melt into a puddle here...it's hella hot here!!
Check
out the National Weather Service message for us after my question...they're
saying this weather is gonna be with us all next week on the news...

ANYWAYS, do any of you you use any of the filtration units on the market to
exhaust your wave solder machines, reflow ovens, etc.?

When I worked with Zevatech, and did NEPCON shows etc., there was a unit
that
was always used for exhaust when things were being run "live" at the shows
(TAC line for example, plus other vendors that actually wanted to run their
machines)...I was pretty impressed with them...they were units from
Impell...just trying to find out if anybody actually uses this method to
exhaust mass reflow machines (wave, reflow ovens).

Thanks!
(he says as he's getting a cool iced-tea..be glad you're not here!)
