Hi Mark,

As far as I know this is not specified in IPC-specs, but some very usefull documentation about the HASL-proces and thickness-specifications for a "capable process" can be found at http://people.ne.mediaone.net/sgoodell/chapter30/ch30.html
It's a complete chapter of the "Printed Circuits Materials Handbook".

Is there an IPC spec regarding the thickness (or flatness) of HASL solder
coating?  I don't see it referenced in IPC 6012 or IPC-A-600.
