Senior PCB Designer
Primary tasks:
* Work directly with a variety of high technology companies to
accomplish or supervise all phases of designing all types of circuit boards,
including very dense, high-speed multilayer boards, from schematic or
netlist input through fabrication, assembly, and test output.
* Quote, schedule, and monitor one's own projects as well as
occasionally coordinating team design efforts, or multiple-board projects.
* Assist in training of junior designers or engineers in various
layout tasks and efficient use of the tools.
*
* Minimum skills and requirements:
* 5 years of diversified CAD-based circuit board design experience.
* 2 years of recent full-time experience on the Cadence Allegro
system.
* Basic computer literacy on UNIX and PC/Windows-based applications
and systems.
* Ablility to interface unsupervised with:
* Customer engineers and changing requirements.
* Downstream support processes (fabrication, assembly, and test
vendors) to provide turnkey products.
* Good verbal and written communications skills.
* Self-starting, achievement oriented individual.
* Good "people skills" - team oriented, consensus-builder, positive
outlook.
