Phil,

Spoke to a few of my colleagues and here is what we came up with. Hope this
helps.

BS EN 123300 :1992 (Detail Spec Multilayer)
IPC-2221 Generic Standard on PWB Designs
IPC-2222 Sectional Standard on Rigid PWB Designs
IPC-2224 Sectional Standard for Design of PWB's for PC Cards
        IPC-A-600 Acceptability of Printed Boards
IPC-6011 Generic Performance Specification for Printed Boards
IPC-6012 Qualification and Performance Specification for Rigid Printed
Boards

BS EN 60249-2-12 :1994 (Material)
IPC-4101 Specification for Base Materials for Rigid and Multilayer Printed
Boards

BS 4584 section 103.3 :1992 (Solder Resist)
IPC-SM-840 Qualification and Performance of Permanent Solder Mask
IPC-CC-830A Qualification and Performance of Electrical Insulating
Compounds for PWB and PWA

BS EN 61249-8-7 :1997 (Component Legend)
Believe that you could find some information and possibly an equivalent
document from the JEDEC website: http://www.jedec.org/.

Hope this helps. Good Luck.
