Hi all,

I am looking for information about hand soldering 0201 and 0402 components.

Right now we are using a metcal solder station.

Looking through the catalog reveals that the soldering tips come in three
temperature ranges;
And various sizes.

Any suggestions about which to order?

The soldering work being done is hand assembly proto typing.

Substrates

FR4
Flex (poly imide?)
