Phil, I, too, have just started on the same project, putting it under the
"Infrastructure" catgory along with ESD control and preventive maintenance
done by building maintenance (rather than the machine operator).  Does
thermal grease have a shelf life?  One thing I've noted that does which may
have escaped your notice is the foils and traces for repairing damaged
conductors as described in IPC-7721, method 4.2.2, and for repairing
damaged pads.  Lou Hart

We have embarked on the road to ISO 9001-2000 and the notion of tracking
materials with shelf life, such as thermal grease, epoxy, glue and other
"date sensitive" materials has come up.

Have any of you come up with an uncomplicated system that works?
