No electrically conductive paint or adhesive is going to be anything like as
conductive as metal, typically by a couple of orders of magnitude. For
cheapness you might want to look at some of the carbon filled polymer inks
used in flex circuits, also outside the electronics industry conductive
coatings and adhesives are used in buildings/constructional applications.
These are to ensure electrical continuity in static sensitive facilities /
applications [like flour mills for example) and are typically based on
copper

Subject: [TN] Conductive Paint......

Hi Techneters,

The current discusion about Conductive epoxy brings to mind a question I
had about conductive paint.
Does any one know where I might find a good reasonably cheap source of
conductive paint? The only source
I have found here in Australia is prohibitively expensive, and not very
conductive. Any sugestions would
be appreciated. The aplication is but low voltage and low amps, and designed
to be totally disposable if
a fault occurs, so low cost is an important consideration.

        Thanks......
