William...just a couple of  thoughts on your project.  Keep in mind that
most scoring machines use a circular blade (4" Diam. approx.)  In order
to get full score depth at the end of the score line you must go beyond
it (appox.) .250" to .300".   this is called blade run out.  It can be
done on a router with a scoring bit, one side at a time, but this is an
expensive, time consuming process.
