Anyone have an opinion pro or con regarding jump scoring a v-groove?

Not sure how this will look after posting, but the dotted vertical lines and
two inside horizontal lines above represent the proposed v-grooves on the
panel. The two inside vertical v-grooves would be jump scored to help
stiffen the panel. Incidentally, the panel is 4 up.

We have a small debate regarding effect on fab cost, etc.

Although I agree that this would stiffen the panel considerably, I would
prefer to avoid imho, but may not be able to as a result of other design
constraints.

Thanks in advance, and hope your day skips right on by.

Bill
