This is for all who have asked me questions about the mentioning of "false
virus alarms" on the download page for my new program
http://www.smtinfo.net/smtmaestro/smtmaestro.html, and for all who were
afraid to download because of this.
After recompiling the program with some adjusted settings the executable IS
NO LONGER INDICATED AS INFECTED by the McAfee virusscanner (latest version
of the antivirus-definition files).
But again: The program was already clean, it was a false warning. A user
group of RapidQ programmers (that's the compiler in which I wrote my
program) is working on these issues with McAfee.
I heard about the problem with virus warnings just hours after my earlier
posting on Technet.
