I know of an n-methyl pyrrolidinone based stripper that also contains
HCFC-141B that will strip polyurethane conformal coatings. The labels says
it will attack polystyrene, ABS and acrylic. It also says not to store near
heat sources or aluminum. Contact me off-line for more info.

|Subject: ACRYLIC CONFORMAL COATING CLEANING SOLUTION
|
|
|Hello Technet:
|Not seeing any stars or stripes today (maybe an occasional
|pink elephant,
|though). I'm looking for a non-flammable, non-toxic material
|which can be
|used in a dip tank (or cold spray) to remove acrylic conformal
|coating from
|holding/masking fixtures. Any suggestions?
