Dear Techies

just popped back in to this venerable place for a day or two to ask
Sages their opinions on pros & cons of board subcontracting.
I used to work in that field, like Steve does nowadays , in a small bus ;
would be more interested in big house impacts (like Eric),
taking off the burden of componentry MRP's and associated pains (generating
other in the perceived? progress of process).
Times are changing ; Cyprus just scored communist government (may change tax
laws for bud Brian),
and Upper Floors disturbed me from my present variable density silicone
elastomers quest to dip me back to pwb's.
Have had this Q before , kept all the Ones kind enough to reply , combed
Archives :
What would be the latest opinion on efficiency of this phenomenon (bitter
for some, understandably) .

For those who could refresh my wondering memory please:

Approx 10K/m of DS FR4, up to 4L, 9x4" , some 200+/- placings TSonly, some
hand/or intrusive dip; with SEAsian pricing please,
I know You US guys are good, can't afford that hard $, sincerely sorry.

Thanks a lot ahead (straight introductions directly , please)
