TechNetters, does anyone know of a lab that can test a couple of ICs that
we are having trouble with? Both are relatively old, and hard to come by.
The customer is supplying us with ones they've gotten from brokers and
that we are expected to use. The story I hear is that they have been used
before, some of the leads are bent, and there is solder on the leads.
Unfortunately, we are having better than 50% fallout at assembly test due
to these old parts. So I'm looking for a lab that could screen them for
us, thereby reducing our assembly test fallout. One is an 8-bit CMOS D/A
converter, Analog Devices AD7524JN. The other is a real time clock with
some RAM, Motorola MC146818AP.

Thanks for any suggestions.
