Steve,

Try Uresolve Plus SG. Here is the web site -
http://www.dynaloy.com/encepoxies.htm

I have used the Uresolve Plus SG before (for de-encapsulating molded
devices, glob-topped devices, etc), as well as the Decap (which has a Very
pungent odor). I perfer the UP SG

Subject: [TN] Removing epoxy encapsulation

Hi ya'll!

Could anybody tell me what kind of chemical/solvent I could use to remove
epoxy encapsulation material? What I'm trying to do is look at the wire
bonds
on some failed tunnel diodes...

Thanks!
