And continuing on this theme, one of the (UK) national chain stores
now openly seeks older people for its shops on the basis that they are
polite and helpful to customers, have better punctuality, less days
off sick, learn the job faster, have a better approach, are more
flexible and less likely to leave than the younger people they
previously insisted on...... apparently the customers prefer it this
way too.
