Excuse me, "added engineering opportunities with lead-free"? Don't you think
that there enough real engineering challenges that serve human welfare?
How can anyone be satisfied spinning lead-free wheels?

But I have an idea. Give the people working on lead-free an additional
assignment. They should be used by their companies as environmental stewards
and missionaries, encouraged to join every environmental and civic group in
sight. They would be effective in promoting recycling, including electronics
with 63-37 tin-lead.
