Moisture sensitive IC's that are tape and reeled are usually sent in a vacuum
sealed
moisture proof ESD bag, with a desicant and a humidity indicator card sealed
inside with the IC's.
For the humidity indicator cards, go to:
http://www.multisorb.com/products/humonitor.html
Once you get there you'll find a link that you can click on for some samples
and literature about their products.
