Dear Technetters,

We face a problem of winding stress on toroid. Whenever thick wire, e.g. AWG16
or above wire, is wound to a toroidal core, either the core coating is scratched
off or the inductance changes unexpectingly. We are striving for fine-tuning the
winding machine's force and use manual winding method, but still face the
inductance change problem. Could anyone out there give me some advice how to
prevent this? Thanks in advance.

ken
