THE DEADLINE IS APPROACHING!!!

SEND IN APPROX. A 75 WORD ABSTRACT WITH APPLICATION (see below) ON YOUR AREA OF EXPERTISE.

IPC Designers Council
1st Annual Designer Learning Symposium 2001
Call for Papers
Hilton Northbrook Hotel
Northbrook, IL
July 16-21, 2001

If you are interested, All I need right now is a brief (but informative) (1) abstract for Review and (2) the application (see below) and (3) the willingness to commit. You may fax these to my attention at 847/509-9798 or email to [log in to unmask]

You have plenty of time for the final paper. I don't need the final paper until middle of June [4 + page text (paper) & the power point (presentation)].

Technical Paper Presenters receive complementary registration and are automatically registered for the conference. This means you receive the same benefits of conference participants: comprehensive program proceedings, lunches and refreshments on both days, and admission to the conference: hands-on training, technical paper sessions, keynote, and the evening reception.

Submit an abstract of your unpublished work detailing case histories, field data, new technologies or innovations or research and findings. Your abstract should summarize the problems and resolutions, methods used, results, and benefits to the industry. Only a limited number of papers will be accepted. If accepted, speakers should be prepared to give an approximate 30 minute, non-commercial, presentation with 5 to 10 minutes of questions & answers. The paper should detail all of the findings scoped in your abstract. Papers focused on a company's product will not be accepted.

IF there is still room, abstracts will be accepted until May 7th. ALTHOUGH, If you are interested, Get your abstract in now! I apologize for the rush, but our brochure is graphics as we speak and I want to make sure I can get as many people recognized.

You may visit us at www.ipcdesignerscouncil.org and click on "Designers Learning Symposium" for more information or feel free to contact me at any time with any questions or concerns.

Thanks so much for your attention. I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience!
