        Steve :

There are several that are well suited for Microscopy work.
I am sure you have found out that price can range from a few hundred to
tens of thousands of dollars!

Both Polaroid, and Kodak , make turn key kits including image
analysis software and cameras. An easy way to get everything with little
to no hassle.

The Nikon 950 or 990 have excellent features and aftermarket
adapters to attach to a scope. The nice thing about the Nikon , is the
available close-up lens with it you can make some nice shots of the whole
board, if you remove it from the scope.

The Problem with most camera purchases is if you want to do image
analysis you have to purchase separate software.

I favor the Nikon camera. As for software I really like the
capability of Media Cybernetics Image-pro plus
. ( not the cheapest combination , but very powerful)
