I have some power card that experience mealsing along the 12V@1A sense trace
that is about 2cm long. I have checked through the IPC-A-600 which said that
mealsing is accepted for Class 1,2,3 except for high voltage application.

My problem is that IPC did not specify how value of this high voltage
application. My worry is that the measling will degrade with temperature as
this power card is used under hot environment with no ventilisation - inside a
box. With two power modules on one side, the measling will get worse over a
period of time.

Can someone or IPC staff provide some guidance as what the optiminal high
voltage should be? I need this information very urgent and would appreciate any
feedback.

Thanks a million!
Regards - Wee Mei
