You should be able to re coat most of the photoimageable products on
the market on top of the existing mask .I would stay with the original type
for best compatibility. It might take a little prep work to get superior
adhesion. (i.e. cleaning the surface) .If the second coat can be put on
thinner, then it becomes a matter of registration to line up the second
image to the first, resolution should be better on the thinner coating
unless the coloring pigment effects it. If you can make the image for the
second exposure slightly oversize from the original, it will make it easier
to register, and give you more room for misregistration, before you get
mask on pads.
