Subject: [TN] Baking flexes prior to hot bar fixing

If I attach a polyimide flex to an MCM using a Z axis adhesive and a hot bar
machine should I bake the flexes prior to fixing?

>From memory the hot bar runs up to about 200 deg for 30 s.

If I don't what can I expect to go wrong?

Regards,

Eric Christison
