Is your system a closed loop system?
I believe, adding salt alone will not remove the heavy metals that are
present in the water. To be sure, you need to measure the resistivity of
the water. We use DI here and we're getting readings of 10 to 15 mega
ohms. I believe the water is deemed DI is the resistivity is above 4(Not
sure).
