If you are using water to clean your cards after assembly, you can use
water soluble tape. The tape comes in rolls on a back up material. A
specified length can be cut as the tape is unreeled from the backing. No
static. Let me know if you need more information for your specific
application. Also it eliminates the hassle of removing the tape from
gold finger and no residue is left.
