Nicolas asks:
>"I have a question for all you technetters. We are experiencing cracking on
>certain 1812 ceramic capacitor. "
Nicolas:
Is there a connector near the cap that is utilized in the
process? Are the boards v-grooved and snapped apart
near the part? Is there any flexure of the module during
test, or elsewhere in the process?
I'm not discounting the possibility of a vendor issue, but
I've seen LOTS of cracked ceramic monolithic caps
and almost all were related to handling issues of some
type or another. 1812 caps are problematic, because
of their size.
Please let us know what you find....
/John
