Subject: [TN] HUGE SMT assembly...
Hey ya'll,
I just got a call from one of our sales people asking how big a board we can
do in
our machines, I told her 18" X 16". She said; "Oh darn...". I asked why the
disappointment? She said; "Well, there might have been some SMT business
that
we could get, but we would have to be able to handle a 24" X 24", 52-layer
board". As soon as I picked my jaw up from the floor, I told her that there
was no-way we could do something like that.
My question is; are there pick and place machines that can do boards that
big?
