From one of my teachers, who taught Philosophy of Enterprise, I learned more
English than in any of my English classes.
He said: one word - one meaning, and one meaning - one word.
He also said: Synonyms are the death of a language.
(Example: to have the right to, to be allowed to, to have permission. Three
words with significantly different meanings but that are often used as
synonyms.)
And as a consequence of the confusing use of language: In many business
discussions people are in heated agreement.

Have fun,
Ahne.

PS: and abbreviated acronyms don't help.
