There are pumps that are used in the environmental testing field,
incorporated with filtering, and conditioning can produce zero air. The
question is how much pressure do you need and how long do you need it for. I
know you can use this on a larger scale.

If by compressed air, you mean air coming out of an ordinary industrial
compressor, forget it: you will undoubtedly run into problems, no matter
how well it is filtered.

OTOH, bottled air derived from liquid air should be OK.
