I agree, and from this post, I have learned a new term to add to my list;
"Scab-on" parts...fits well (they are like "scabs", and as Mom always said;
"Don't pick at your scabs!" meaning that they can't take much stress...makes
sense).

This is as good as the other terms I've learned over the years...like
"Dead-bugs" (parts that get flipped upside-down and glued to the board, look
like dead-bugs to me...) or "Condominiums" (IC's that are stacked on top of
each other, and pins are soldered to the pins of the IC below it), or
"Grass-hoppers" (a condition that happens during auto-insertion where the
leads don't go into the holes and bend to look like the legs of a
grass-hopper).

These terms may be not too technical, but eloquently describes what's going
on, huh? ;^) Anybody have any others?
