We used high temp solder for profiling the wave solder ovens (we had the
wave turned off - not sure if the high temp solder would survive it)
We have also been using a Thermal conductive adhesive aluminum tape witch
seems to work well when covered in Kapton.

        attachment of thermocouples?

        Glue
        Kapton tape
        Thermal conductive adhesives
        High temp solder
        Destructive - Thermocouple embedded in PCB

        Just curious on some of the answers I may receive........
