Samuel:
We use and recommend "Chomerics" brand aluminum tape.  This works very well,
and to be honest, we have not tested other brands. (I don't know if there
even are alternatives.)
Dave Fish provided availability info earlier.

"We like Al tape for securing thermocouples.  KIC posted the process on
