FR-4 is a fire retardant woven glass epoxy substrate. Getek, a trade name,
is a similar product using PPO epoxy in place standard epoxy resin.
Polyimide is a replacement resin for the epoxy still using woven glass.
Teflon is a trade name for PTFE plastic it is used with a number of fillers
to create a substrate. Rodgers is a manufacturer who produces all or most of
the above plus a line of thermo set plastic laminates used for pcb
manufacture. For more specific answers on the properties of these materials
see IPC-4101.
