You might want to think about this some more.  I've seen some of the "SMT"
electrolytics
(which are just radial parts with the leads formed around an insulating header),
have problems
surviving any vibration testing. The combination of large (tall!) mass, and
rather flimsy leads
is not a good one. It appears that the leads work harden and fracture easily
under these
conditions.

I noted recently that there is a manufacturer who is adding two extra "leads"
(physically
connected to the can itself) to help stabilize and strengthen this bond.

It's something to think about.
