Ken,

We have had a couple of 'go rounds' on this issue. Although the raw material
specifications and the assembly specifications are pretty much in agreement,
I believe the separation of the two is due to the difference between
processing and final assembly. We apply the specification to the 'board in
hand' so to speak.

The other note is that the specifications mention that for SM a tighter
tolerance may be necessary. It is. We do. Much to the chagrin of some board
manufacturers.

Our specifications call for an amount per inch with a maximum allowable.
This seems to be the most workable.

Good luck and have fun!
