Tech Spray make Wondermask P and Wondermask PL - the former is synthetic
latex, non-ammoniated, the latter is natural latex and contains ammonia.

Hi Phil, Ken and All,

Does that Techspray Wondermask have ammonia in it? I had to eliminate
that
from my ancient Hollis waveflow process as a possible cause of over
oxidation. Something I learned from the list in fact.

We use two methods.

1) peelable solder mask Techspray Wondermask P

2) holes with no plating through and about a 10 mil ring of no copper on
the
inside diameter of the land.

Technetters,
Could anyone advise a design of soldering pad which will not be closed
with
solder during wavesoldering when the hole is not inserted with
component,
but it
can form a normal solder joint when a component is inserted through the
hole
with the lead clinched by auto-insertion machine? The board is 1.6mm
thick
single sided pcb. Thanks.

Ken
