hi,

there are a multitude of rf connectors? specifically, what type are you
talking about?

a common practice (for example with semi-rigid cable) is to cut the cable to
length, preheat the cable to expand and relieve the teflon dielectric, cut
off the teflon that extrudes from the shield, then solder the connector to
it. i know you are talking about the connector, but the same prodedure
could work there. we reflow solder sma connectors to backpanels without any
problems.

Guys,
How RF connectors are soldered to the boards? This one is with teflon bead
for sure.

You may have a problem with the teflon bead in the connector, grow as it
sees the heat during reflow and that may (no it probably will effect the
performance of the connector.

All,
I am throwing this as a general question.
Can RF connectors be reflowed? This one is high frequency. We do not have
data sheet and are made in Germany.
