Hi TNs,
who of you are Merlin & Oracle on adressed issue? Where can I buy video-courses? And does anyone have MMMs little ESD dosimeters (which they don't make anymore, can't be bought anywhere). And finally, what ESD lower level have you decided for your plants today? We aim at some 50V max allowable charges anywhere in the lines and their surroundings, but seems hard to fulfill with fields from PCscreens, human charges, manual handling between lines...you know what. As I said, not easy too keep up with if you check all details, enough with sneezing or scratch your head, and immediately you have those 50 Volts. We have extremly stringent ESD regulations, but somewhat aged, decreasing Vcc levels and you have to make corresponding correlations, which is not what todays ESD rules have. ESD-mats, ion-blowers, humidity systems, 3M sprays, transient absorbers, ESD bleeding resistors...we have all that...I talk about understanding areas not so oftenly spoken of.

If you have coping (<50Vrange) ideas about institutes for education, videos, books or anything in the way, it would be great!

Salut
Ingemar Hernefjord
