Dear Technetters,
I have the problem of having transfomer pins being cut short but the tips of the pins get oxidized before they are being inserted into a PWB then wavesoldering. The oxidized pin tips cannot take solder. The time gap between the cut and the wavesoldering process is normally about 1 week. Could anyone advise if there is any chemical so that the pins' tips can be dipped into it and being protected to ensure they can take up solder during wavesoldering? Thanks for your time.

KenF
