Designer Learning Symposium 2001
Call for Papers
Northbrook Hilton in Northbrook, IL
July 16-21, 2001

Get Ahead... Think Design!
The IPC Designers Council is proud to announce the first annual Designer Learning Symposium. This event will concentrate primarily on practical, hands-on training for the designer. Get concrete information that you can take back to the workplace. In addition to a first class technical conference, there will be full day workshops on the hottest topics in design.

Submit an abstract of your unpublished work detailing case histories, field data, new technologies or innovations or research and findings. Your abstract should summarize the problems and resolutions, methods used, results, and benefits to the industry. The deadline for abstract submittal is April 1, 2001. Only a limited number of papers will be accepted. If accepted, speakers should be prepared to give an approximate 30-minute, non-commercial, presentation with 5 to 10 minutes of questions & answers. The paper should detail all of the findings scoped in your abstract. Papers focused on a company's product will not be accepted. As a speaker/author you will be entitled to a copy of the proceedings and free registration to the two-day hands-on conference.

Please email or fax your abstract to Stephannie Caliendo at [log in to unmask] or 847-509-9798. Remember to include your FULL name and FULL company/contact information with your abstract submittal.
