Under what circumstances would you want to apply symbolization over
metal finishes anyway???
I know of studies performed on epoxy symbolization inks, I cannot recall
any of them concluding that symbol ink will remain after any
solderability is performed of the area.
If you absolutely need an ink for nomenclature, have you tried solder
mask ink, perhaps that's a solution, it will after all survive those
thermal excursions you need.
Just my thoughts......
