Hi,
Does anybody have some info on the recommended storage duration of electrolytic capacitors (and how to extend it) ? I read from manufacturers data that the recommandation is usually not to exceed 2-3 years (the alumine layer is gradually destroyed by the electrolyte when the cap does not work).
My problem is that I want to store some boards for over 10 years, with elec. caps. Is there another solution than storing the boards without the parts ?
Thanks
Chris
